Wayne C. Erickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Erickson, 600 32d Street and John B. Hill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neely Hill, 2015 S. Maple Street are among 43 apprentice seaman in the V-12 unit at University of Dubuque, Dubuque, Iowa to receive a place on the captain’s merit roll which has been published by the commanding officer.
