Joe Campbell Earley was born May 29, 1920 to John William and Minnie Blanche Campbell Earley. He died Jan. 13, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg.
Major Earley served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 389th Fighter Squadron, 366th Fighter Group and was KIA in the European Theatre. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters and Purple Heart.
