Cpl. Jerome Cyrus Dyvig

 

 

 

Edwin C. and Anna Olson Dyvig had three sons serving their country in World War II: Orlin Minard, Clifford Ivan, and Jerome Cyrus Dyvig.

Jerome Cyrus Dyvig was born Aug. 7, 1919. He died Oct. 6, 1987 and is buried in the Blue Lake Baptist Church Cemetery, Chipley, FL.

Cpl. Dyvig served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Word has been received of the death of Jerome Dyvig, 68, of Chipley, Fla., former Webster City and Stanhope resident.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Blue Lake Baptist Church in Chipley.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, two step-children;; one grandson; a brother, Clifford of Webster City; and two sisters, Marlene (Mrs. John) Norman of Webster City and Beatrice Knutson of Upland, Calif.
