Ival Gene Dutcher was born Dec. 22, 1926 to William Algie and Hazel Geneva Hinman Dutcher. He died Feb. 19, 2007 and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Mahtomedi, MN.

Ival served with the U.S. Navy in World War II at Hugh Manley, Chicago, IL, Navy Pier, Chicago, IL and Treasure Island, San Francisco, CA.

Ival Gene Dutcher, 80, Sun City, Texas, and White Bear Lake, Minn. died Feb. 19, 2007. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 24 in White Bear Lake, Minn. He was buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Mahtomedi.

He was preceded in death by wife, Margit D. Dutcher; and brother, Rollie Dutcher.

Survivors are: sons, Kelley G. (Annette), James R. (Sonja), Brent T. (Patricia), Samuel L. (Gail), Richard (Jacqueline); daughter, Jill A. Dutcher, and many grandchildren; two sisters, Fern (Gaylord) Nelson, Webster City and Erma Flygstad, Jewell; sister0kn-law Lillian Dutcher of Stratford; many nieces and nephews; special friend Marye Snyder and special sons and daughter.

Ival Gene Dutcher was born Dec. 22, 1926. He was a retired engineer and executive with the Whirlpool Corporation, a naval veteran of World War II, and a talented woodworker. His greatest joys were his family and friends, and was a man whose arms were big enough for everyone.
