Donald A. Diggins was born Nov. 6, 1921 to J. Arthur and Myrtle Mae Gilgen Diggins. He died Mar. 9, 1945 and is buried in Melbourne Memorial Garden, Melbourne, IA.
Sgt. Diggins served in World War II with the 605th Ordnance Base Armored Maintenance Battalion and died of pneumonia in Naples, Italy while in the service of his country.
