Leland A. Dickinson was born Dec. 22, 1925 to Earl L. and Clara E. Primmer Dickinson. He died Sept. 10, 2001 and is buried in Rose Cemetery, Douglasville, GA.
Col. Dickinson served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II with H Battery, 3rd Battalion, 10th Marines, 2nd Marine Division and was wounded in action.
