Iowa, U. S., WWII Bonus Case Files 1947-1954, Claim No. 83749

John De Vries, SN 37482684, was born Jan. 3, 1925 in Orange City, Iowa, where he lived prior to entering the army on July 8, 1943 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He served with the 1720 Coast Artillery Battalion at Fort Barry, California, and was discharged March 3, 1946. His application for bonus pay was filed on May 13, 1949, for which he received a $340.00 bonus.
