Jasper Lyle “Lyle" Day was born Aug. 18, 1917 to Ross B. and Florence Crouse Day. He died Aug. 17, 1986 and is buried in Memorial Cemetery, LeMars, IA. Pvt. Day served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
