Robert Virgil Curl was born June 25, 1915 to Harry Virgil and Nina Murphy Curl. He died Sept. 2, 1944 and is buried in Bloomfield IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield, IA.
Sgt. Curl served in World War II with the U.S. Army 125th Mechanized Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron. He was KIA in Belgium.
