Robert Thomas Cunningham was born Jan. 25, 1923 to Martin and Florence Owens Cunningham. He died July 28, 1945 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Clinton, IA.
Ens. Cunningham served in World War II with the U.S. Navy as a pilot whose plane was shot down at the end of the war. His body was later recovered and returned to the U.S. for burial.
