Harvey Albert Cross was born Dec. 25, 1923 to Charles J. and Ruth M. Hess Cross. He died Dec. 20, 1944 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, IA.
Pvt. Cross served in World War II with the U.S. Army 506th Parachute Infantry, 101st Airborne Division and died of wounds received in action in the Battle of the Bulge. He saw combat in Holland, Belgium and Germany.
