James Basil Coleman was born Jan. 9, 1925 to John Joseph and Teresa Veronica Sinnott Coleman. He died Feb. 16, 1945 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Melrose, IA.
Pvt. Coleman served in World War II with the U.S. Army 161st Infantry, 25th Division and was KIA on Luzon Island, Philippine Islands.
