Howard Eugene Coker was born Aug. 3, 1911 to Roy John and Eva Mae Hall Coker. He died July 15, 1943 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 5, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Ensign Coker served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/FOD/KIA aboard a plane when that plane was lost in the Alaskan area. He was awarded the Air Medal.
