Dr. Pat Cmeyla Believed Moved to Tokyo Prison

Dr. Pat M. Cmeyla, who was taken prisoner, by the Japanese at the fall of Bataan, was reported last seen in July, 1944, by a friend now liberated and in this country who was taken prisoner at the same time.

In July 1944, Dr. Cmeyla was transferred from Bilibid prison just ahead of the group that was bombed and at that time he was in excellent physical condition, the friend told Dr. Frank D, McCarthy of Sioux City. It was reported that Dr. Cmeyla is believed to be in Tokyo prison camp at present.

Dr. Cmeyla practiced here before his induction into the army.
