Lester Howard Christensen was born Sept. 25, 1914 to Clarence E. and Emma Aasheim Christensen. He died July 19, 1944 and is buried in the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-James, Normandy, France.
Sgt. Christensen served with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and was MIA/KIA in St. Lo, France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
