James Allen Carter was born Dec. 5, 1917 to Ira and Sadie Thornton Carter. He died Dec. 5, 1942 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Sgt. Carter served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 90th Bomb Squadron.
