IN UNIFORM
Cpl. Charles E. Cain, on completion of a 45-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie E. Cain, 1204 Pierce Street, will report to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., for discharge. With a combat engineers group, CPL Cain took part in the invasion of Normandy and the Belgian bulge and at the latter place received the Purple Heart for wounds received in the hand. Overseas since January 1944, he wears the E.T.O. ribbon and five stars.
