John Francis “Johnnie” Bormann was born Nov. 23, 1918 to John Henry and Gertrude McLaughlin Bormann. He died Oct. 17, 1944 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Lt. Bormann served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and was KIA in Belgium at the Battle of the Bulge.
