Alvin W. Beenken was born Apr. 6, 1925 to Harry and Irene Beenken. He died Oct. 9, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Sgt. Beenken served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 531st Bomber Squadron, 380th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA, later declared KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
