Denver Lee Baxter was born Oct. 26, 1923 to Elmer Lee and Lelah Dell Baxter. He died Oct. 9, 1943 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Central City, IA.
Pvt. Baxter served in World War II with the U.S. Army 193rd Glider Infantry, 17th Airborne Division and died at Camp Mackall, North Carolina.
