David Walter Byers was born Nov. 7, 1925 to Jerry Wesley and Ida Alfreida Campie Byers. He died Nov. 18, 1945 and is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Clinton, IA.
Pvt. Byers served in World War II with the U.S. Army 515th Parachute Infantry and died in the service of his country.
