Albert James Buss was born Nov. 13, 1910 to Herman James and Maud Belle Blake Buss. He died Aug. 10, 1944 and is buried in Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone, IA. He was initially buried in the U.S. Military Cemetery Marigny near St. Lo, France.
Lt. Buss served with the U.S. Army 8th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division in World War II and was KIA.
