Recently discharged from the Army, Pfc. Kenneth Brown, 27, has returned to his home at 2918 E. Thirty-eighth st. His shoulder patch marks him as a member of the 27th Division. The seven bars on his sleeve signify three and a half years service overseas. Over his pocket he wears (from top) the Combat Infantryman’s badge; Purple Heart with one cluster, signifying two wounds, and (from left) the Good Conduct ribbon, Pre-Pearl Harbor ribbon (American Defense) and the Pacific ribbon with three Bronze Stars for three major actions.
