Storm Lake, Iowa—Corporal Edwin W. Boese has written that he is now in Africa.

Edwin Willard Boese was born Oct. 7, 1918 to Herman and August Helen Kossart Boese. He died Nov. 22, 1975 and is buried in Buena Vista Memorial Park, Storm Lake, IA.
Cpl. Boese served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
