Leonard Walter Bloethe was born Jan. 11, 1921 to William John and Lena Sophia Farnum Bloethe. He died June 16, 1944 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
Lt. Bloethe served in World War II with the U.S. Army 507th Parachute Infantry, 17th Airborne Division and was KIA in Normandy, France.
