Alvin L. Berding was born Aug. 22, 1918 to August and Dena Determan Berding. He died Feb. 15, 1944 and is buried in Saint Boniface Cemetery, Clinton, IA.
Sgt. Berding served in World War II with the U.S. Army 194th Field Artillery Battalion and was KIA in Cassino, Italy.
