Verle Dale Beesley was born May 22, 1920 to James W. and Letta Lange Beesley. He died Feb. 13, 1944 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene, IA.
Sgt. Beesley served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry, 34th Division and died of wounds received in action in Italy.
