Harold E. Beckett was born Dec. 22, 1919 to James Perry and Lorene Susanne Jacobs Beckett. He died Jan. 3, 1945 at POW camp, Wittlich, Bernkastel-Wittlich, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. He was buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Hamm, Canton de Luxembourg, Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
He served with the 707th Tank Battalion in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal.
