Henry William Barnholtz was born June 9, 1922. He died Sept. 14, 1944 and is buried in Postville Cemetery, Clayton Co, IA.
Sgt. Barnholtz served with the U.S, Army Air Corps in World War II and was killed in a train crash while traveling for reassignment. He had recently returned from overseas duty in Italy with the 762nd Bomb Squadron, 460th Bomb Group.
