News About Men in Service From Over Northeast Iowa
Greene—Oscar J. Armstrong, formerly of Waterloo, who now is Principal of Greene high school, has received his commission as lieutenant (j.g.) in the United States naval reserve and will report for active duty May 29, at Hollywood, Fla. Mrs. Armstrong and their two sons, Jay and Gene, will make their home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Arends, at Cedar Falls.
