Robert Harry Ankerstar was born Nov. 17, 1917 to Soren and Antonette K. Christansen Ankerstar. He died Dec. 26, 1990 and is buried in Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
Robert served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kwajalein (CVE-98).
