Pvt. Wayne Robert Anderson

 

 

 

Wayne Robert Anderson was born July 10, 1925 to Frank L. and Hilma Emelia Falk Anderson. He died July 11, 1989 and is buried in Mamre Cemetery, Stanton, IA.

Pvt. Anderson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 35th Infantry Division, 430th Tire Repair Company. He served in the Rhineland Campaign and received the Marksmanship with Carbine Badge, Combat Infantryman Badge, WWII Victory Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with two Bronze Battle Stars, two Overseas Bars and the Good Conduct Medal.
