Victor S. Anderson was born July 14, 1921 to Frank B. and Maude B. Houbry Anderson. He died Nov. 15, 1979 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, IA

Pvt. Anderson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 47th Infantry Regiment in Germany receiving the WWII Victory Ribbon, European-African-Middle Eastern Ribbon with one Bronze Service Star, Combat Infantry Badge, and Purple Heart.
