Stanley Eugene Anderson was born July 8, 1922 to James D. and Gladys Forsythe Anderson. He died May 29, 2011 and is buried in Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
Capt. Anderson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 3rd Army 90th Division, 357th Regiment. He was a graduate of the U.S. Army Medical Administration Corps Officer Candidate School. He served as Battalion Surgical Assistant and was involved in four campaigns in France.
