Harold Wesley Anderson was born Mar. 22, 1919 to Daniel W. and Effie A. Requist Anderson. He died Oct. 10, 2007 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, IA.

Lt. Anderson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 80th Infantry Division, Patton’s 3rd Army and was at Falaise Gap and the Battle of the Bulge, receiving the European Theatre of Operation Ribbon with 4 Battle Stars and Combat Infantry Badge.
