Hershell Guy “Guy" Alley was born Jan. 21, 1922 to Fred and Erville Mable Stuart Alley. He died Nov. 9, 1944 and is buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, IA.
Sgt. Alley served in World War II with the U.S. Army 382nd Infantry, 96th Infantry Division and was KIA on Leyte Island, South Pacific.
