Frederick Brogan Alden was born Aug. 14, 1922 to George E. and Eleanor Brogan Alden. He died Nov. 13, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Alden served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Atlanta (CL-51) and was KIA during the battle of Guadalcanal and was awarded the Purple Heart.
