Oliver Edward “Ed” Adamson was born Aug. 24, 1918 to Clarence and Katie Morr Adamson. He died Jan. 21, 2009 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.
1st Lt. Adamson served with the U.S. Air Force in World War II and Korea and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and 1 Oak Leaf Cluster and the Air Medal and 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
