WING MEMORIAL RITES
Memorial services for Pvt. Glenn E. Wing Jr., who was killed in action July 12 in France, will be Sunday afternoon, Aug. 27, at the Methodist church in Rockwell City. Private Wing was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Wing, Sr., of Rockwell City and the grandson of Mrs. A. T. Flack of Churdan.

Glenn E. Wing was born Mar. 31, 1925 to Glenn and Nellie Ruth Flack Wing. He died July 9, 1944 and is buried in Gowrie Township Cemetery, Gowrie, IA.
Pvt. Wing served with the U.S. Army Infantry in World War II.
