Battle Casualties Sadden More Homes
WILLIAM ROBERT WILLIAMS—Somewhere in the South Pacific, William Robert Williams, of Columbus Junction, was killed in action, according to a message received by his parents May 21, 1943. He volunteered for service with the Chinese Fighting Tigers but later transferred to the United States forces.
