NEWS About MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE
The commanding officer of the 157th AAF base unit of the Air Transport command in the Philippines, has announced the appointment of Major Oscar E. Wente, a former resident of Waterloo, as executive officer of the organization. The major’s wife, Mrs. Gwen N. Wente, with their two children, Michael and John, are temporarily with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Newlin, 980 Seventeenth street, Marion.
