AM2/c Leonard C. Weber, who has been stationed in the New Heberees Islands, returned home Sunday to spend a month’s furlough in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Weber.

Leonard Weber, son of Frank Weber of Fredonia, has been home on a furlough, his first in a year. He has been with the ground crew of the naval air forces in New Hebrides islands not far from the southwest Pacific fighting front.

Leonard Conrad Weber was born Sept. 8, 1915 to Frank H. and Carrie Rients Weber. He died May 10, 1994 and is buried in Memorial Cemetery, LeMars, IA.
