Francis Treinen of Fort Riley, Kansas, is spending fourteen days leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Treinen, of Remsen. He is attached to the Seventh service command in the station hospital.

Francis Theodore Treinen was born Nov. 27, 1906 to Joseph N. and Margureite A. Lehnertz Treinen. He died July 18, 1975 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Remsen, IA.
