MADE PILOT
Vernon C. Thomas was graduated this week from the advanced two-engine army air force pilot school at Stockton, Calif., commissioned a second lieutenant and awarded his silver wings. Lt. Thomas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thomas, 605 East Broadway, received his primary and basic training at Santa Maria and Bakersfield, Calif.
