Pvt. Darwin "Sully" Sullivan is spending this week here with relatives and friends. "Sully" is attending the University of Maryland at College Park, Md.

Pvt. Darwin Sullivan has been transferred from College Park, Md., to the Ordnance Replacement training center in Aberdeen, Maryland. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Sullivan of Eugene, Ore., formerly of Mapleton.

Darwin Veryl Sullivan was born July 5, 1922 to Pete and Elda Martin Sullivan. He died June 2, 2011 and is buried in Lane Memorial Gardens, Eugene, OR.
