Edward Schiltz Home For First Time in Almost Three Years
T/Sgt. Edward Schiltz, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Schiltz, is home on furlough for the first time since he went into the service, July 8, 1942. Recently returned to the States from Saipan, he arrived here Wednesday to spend a 15-day furlough at home.
With the exception of the first three months, he has been out of the States since he joined the armed forces. He has been in the Hawaiian and Marianas Islands all of that time.

Edward Michael Schiltz was born Oct. 17, 1922 to Edward Anthony and Ella Kerwin Schiltz. He died Dec. 4, 1996. Edward served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
