CPT. URBAN POLKING HOME
Captain Urban Polking, who has just completed a course at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, arrived yesterday to spend about 10 days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Polking, before reporting at Boca Raton, Fla.

Urban H. Polking was born Oct. 14, 1919 to Anthony Jacob and Elsie Anne Brey Polking. He died Oct. 25, 2012 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carroll, IA.
Maj. Polking served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps at McCook, NE, Dayton, OH, and Gander, Newfoundland.
