Harold Nelson was born Aug. 6, 1920 to Magnus and Emma M. Pierson Nelson. He died May 11, 1945, was buried at sea, and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 1, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Nelson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.
