WINS ADVANCE—Mrs. Vincent N. Minette, 105 S. North street, Clear Lake, has learned that her husband has been advanced in rating from seaman 1/c to that of petty officer 3/c.
P. O. 3/c Minette entered the Navy in May 1944, and was trained at Farragut, Idaho, and San Pedra, Cal., before leaving the states last March. Mrs. Minette and son, Michael, spent several months with him in the west last winter.
