Cedar Falls—Two brothers of Mrs. Bush Dodd, 2423 Walnut street, are in the army air forces. Lt. George McNeal was graduated recently from the Frederick army air field at Frederick, Okla., and was awarded his wings as a bomber pilot, with the rank of second lieutenant. He received his pre-flight training at San Antonio, Tex., primary training at Coleman field, Tex., and his basic training at Majors field, Greenville, Tex.
Aviation Cadet James Frederick McNeal has completed his basic pilot training at the Chico, Cal., army air field and has been transferred to Ft. Sumner, N.M., for advanced training, after which he will received his wings.
Both boys had attended Iowa State Teachers College and were employed at the John Deere Tractor Co., before their induction.
